Product Description:
Enviro Flex stands as a groundbreaking low VOC cementitious waterproofing membrane, meticulously crafted with fast-setting cements and a high-solids water-resistant polymer. This two-part membrane not only embraces the rapid drying and exceptional adhesion qualities of traditional counterparts but also introduces the toughness, elongation, and flexibility characteristic of modern liquid membranes. Enviro Flex goes beyond the conventional, offering total compatibility with common ceramic tile adhesives, making it a versatile choice for a myriad of applications.
Product Applications:
Enviro Flex is engineered for diverse applications, excelling in the waterproofing of concrete and masonry against gas and water transmission. Its adaptability spans both internal and external settings, making it a go-to solution for commercial and residential projects. This membrane proves its worth over various substrates, including timber, concrete, render, fibre cement, and particle board. Notably, Enviro Flex supports over tiling with traditional polymer-modified ceramic tile adhesives, ensuring a seamless integration with existing structures.
Product Features:
This AS 4858 – Class III membrane embodies industry standards, offering assurance of top-tier performance. Enviro Flex takes pride in its fast-drying nature, ensuring efficiency in application. Its flexibility is a standout feature, providing the toughness and elongation necessary for long-lasting results. With a very low VOC content, this membrane aligns with environmental considerations, making it a non-toxic choice for your projects.
Application Protocol:
For optimal results, it is recommended to mix full kits of Enviro Flex. Slowly add Part B to Part A while mechanically mixing for 5 minutes. After allowing the mixture to stand for 5 minutes, remix before application. Areas with joints, junctions, penetrations, or anticipated movement should be reinforced with a minimum 190mm wide woven polyester cloth. The application involves painting Enviro Flex onto the substrate, laying the cloth, and thoroughly wetting it out with the membrane. Apply two coats to achieve an average minimum dry film thickness of 0.8mm on walls and 1.2mm on floors.
Enviro Flex’s versatility extends beyond mere waterproofing; it’s a comprehensive solution that aligns with the dynamic needs of modern construction projects.
