DURAM Azcoflex TR (trafficable) Membrane

Recommended Primer:

1. Primeseal MC ( Moisture Cure)  2 Part Epoxy Primer for damp and existing membranes. 

2. Duram WB Primer (Water-based) General purpose primer

3. Prime ME (Metal Etch) Suitable primer for ferrous & non-ferrous metals.

Product Description

Azcoflex TR is a trafficable, high build, water based acrylic waterproofing membrane primarily designed for use in areas of  infrequent to moderate foot traffic. Azcoflex TR is UV resistant, tough and durable but still flexible. When cured it gives a seamless waterproofing membrane with excellent water ponding resistance, low dirt pick- up and good thermal shock stability. Although the tough polymer system provides an excellent trafficable waterproof membrane, it can also be used on walls. It is a complete protective waterproof barrier for severe weather conditions, wind driven rain, salt spray and UV exposure. Azcoflex TR has very low VOCs and meets the ‘Green Star’ environmental criteria.

Azcoflex TR (TR is for trafficable) is designed to provide a pedestrian trafficable waterproofing membrane for the use on:

• Roofs, decks, terraces, podiums and balconies.
• Walls, parapets and facades.

Suitable Surfaces

Azcoflex TR can be used over a wide range of properly prepared and primed substrates including:

• Concrete,
• Cement,
• Cement render,
• Block work,
• Brick,
• Masonry,
• FC and CFC sheeting,
• Timber.

Azcoflex TR is not designed as a trafficable membrane although infrequent maintenance foot-traffic is acceptable during
the construction phase.
Azcoflex TR is not suitable for direct contact with high concentrations of chlorine.
Azcoflex TR cannot be applied directly to wet surfaces, this will cause gassing and bubbling of the membrane.
Azcoflex TR can be applied to slightly damp surfaces. The surface must be free from surface water and prolonged
surface dampness.
Azcoflex TR is not designed as a trafficable membrane although, infrequent maintenance foot-traffic is acceptable. A
protective coat of Duram Virotuff is recommended in trafficable areas e.g., terraces, balconies, barbecue areas etc.
