Duram WB Water-based Primer

1. Azcothane Range (Water Base) As a primer, Bonding agent and top or base coat.

Product Description

WB PRIMER is a water based, concrete compatible, polymer emulsion which enhances the adhesion of Durabit EF, Durabit Reo, Duram Azcoflex range of acrylic membranes as well as the Crystoflex membrane. WB Primer has very low VOCs, is classified as non dangerous goods and meets the ‘Green Star’ environment criteria. WB Primer is a penetrative primer and should be used to prime porous substrates over which a water based membrane or coating will be applied.

Product Uses

WB PRIMER should be used to prime porous substrates over which a water based membrane or coating will be applied. It is NOT suitable for use on metal, non porous surfaces, shiny or very smooth concrete, glazed tiles, marble, terrazzo, particle board or chip board.

Suitable Surfaces

WB PRIMER is suitable for use on the following substrates: – Concrete (porous) – Cementitious surfaces – Render – Block work – Fibre-cement sheeting – Plaster board – Brick

• Duram WB Primer is NOT recommended for particle board or chip board. Duram Primeseal MC is recommended for
these surfaces.
• Duram WB Primer is NOT a vapour barrier. For exposed areas such as rooks or where there is a risk of entrapped moisture
in the surface which can cause the membrane to bubble, Duram Primeseal MC must be used.
