ALSEAL AS-4001 MS Polymer Construction Sealant/Adhesive is a high-performance, one-part hybrid sealant formulated with advanced MS Polymer technology. Developed for modern construction applications, it delivers exceptional elasticity, weather resistance, and long-term durability across a wide range of substrates.

Free from solvents, isocyanates, and silicone oils, this environmentally friendly formulation prevents shrinkage, bubbling, and surface staining — maintaining clean architectural finishes. AS-4001 adheres strongly to concrete, masonry, GRC, aluminum, steel, UPVC, and many more substrates — even on slightly damp surfaces when primed.

Ideal for both commercial and residential sealing or bonding, the cured sealant can be overpainted with most common paints and coatings, making it a versatile, reliable performer for interior and exterior applications.

Product Limitations

Not recommended for the following applications:
Below waterline or permanent water immersion.
Outdoor sealing/bonding adjacent to glass substrates.
Polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), neoprene, and bituminous surfaces.

- Alkyd resin paint - cure inhibition to the paint
- Chlorinated paint - staining issue
- Oil based paint - not compatible
