PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

DRIZORO MAXREST is a one-component, structural repair mortar formulated with special cements, additives, and selected aggregates. It provides a thixotropic, non-shrink, quick-setting solution for restoring damaged concrete and masonry surfaces. Once cured, it forms part of the substrate with strength and durability comparable to or greater than concrete itself.

Applications

  • Structural concrete repairs: cracks, honeycombs, fissures
  • Restoration of beams, columns, slabs, and water tanks
  • Repair of corroded reinforcement areas
  • Sealing of joints before waterproofing basements, pools, and tanks
  • Restoration of architectural concrete and precast elements

Key Advantages

  • Quick-setting: ready in 15–20 minutes
  • Non-shrink and no cracking
  • High adhesion — becomes part of the substrate
  • No formwork needed, thixotropic consistency
  • Odour-free, non-toxic, safe for confined spaces
  • Chloride-free for corrosion protection
  • Mixes easily — just add water

Application Guide

  1. Surface Preparation: Clean substrate, remove loose concrete, rust, and dust. Expose steel reinforcement and treat with MAXREST PASSIVE or slurry coat.
  2. Mixing: Mix 25 kg bag with 3.5–4.0 L of clean water (low-speed drill recommended).
  3. Application: Apply bonding slurry (5 parts MAXREST + 1 part water). While fresh, apply mortar in 2.5–3 cm layers, scratching between layers.
  4. Curing: Keep moist and protect from direct sunlight or extreme heat.
  5. Consumption::
    Approx. 1.67 kg/m² per mm thickness (1 kg ≈ 0.6 L fill).

Product Limitations

Do not use leftover mixed material to prepare a new batch.
Do not add sand, aggregates or cement to increase volume.
Do not use high speed mixers
Do not mix for prolonged periods.
Do not apply on painted or structurally weak surfaces.
Do not apply in layers exceeding 3 cm thickness.
Do not allow the layers to heat up; M i s t s p r a y with water if required.
Setting time is measured at 20 ºC. Higher temperatures reduce the setting time and lower temperatures delay the setting time.
With low temperatures keep the product in a warm place and use lukewarm water to accelerate the setting time.
With hot temperatures keep the product in a cool place and use fresh clean water for the mix. Wet the different layers. Mix small
batches of material and apply immediately.
