Surface Preparation Requirements:

  • Concrete: Must be cured (min. 20 MPa strength), dry (<4.5% moisture), and free of laitance, dust, contaminants, and curing agents.
  • Surface Finish: Must be sound and smooth; rough surfaces may require levelling with a product like TREMprime EP.
  • Cracks & Spalls: All cracks >1.6mm and spalled areas must be properly repaired prior to primer application.

Product Limitations

High moisture substrates (>4.5% moisture or above, as per a Tramex CME Moisture Meter)
Substrates with a poor finish or numerous surface imperfections.
Overcoating with a water based membrane.
