PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

MAXREST® PASSIVE is a one-component, ready-to-use oxide converter and anti-corrosion coating specially formulated for reinforcing bars and metal surfaces. Once applied, it reacts with rust, converting active corrosion into a stable, protective passive layer. This layer provides exceptional resistance to corrosion, salts, acids, and alkalis, ensuring long-term protection and enhanced adhesion for subsequent coatings or repair mortars.

Typical Applications:

Perfect for use in concrete repair works, coastal environments, industrial settings, and metal structures requiring anti-corrosion treatment. Suitable as an adhesion promoter for epoxy or polyurethane coatings, or as a primer before applying waterproofing or repair mortars.
